The activation time required in the coating system is about 20-30 minute. The typical activation temperature is between 40 and 70 °C. Dispersing equipment such as sand mills facilitate the activation of the product. When it is difficult to achieve a temperature in the suggested range, 1-2% isopropanol can be added to reduce the activation temperature of PA-8680.
